Summer Lessons!!!!!!!! May 29, 2008

Please keep your child playing and progressing (instead of regressing) this summer by enrolling them in private music lessons. Some parents have asked about returning instruments over the summer and re-renting in the fall…….this is not a practical idea for several reasons. First your account will be closed and you will have to start all over again and will loose any money you paid in rent that counts towards the purchase price of the instrument. Secondly, your child should continue to play and practice over the summer otherwise they will slide backwards in terms of playing ability. I will soon be posting a list of area teachers that offer music lessons. Summer lessons can be a lot of fun and a chance for the student to work one on one with a teacher, at their own pace on music they enjoy……………….
